Omnipollo Agamemnon. This was amazing. Dense oil pour, fantastic head retention/lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, maple syrup, caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crusts; with lighter notes of licorice, vanilla, raisin, cherry, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, wood, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery hops; and roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, rich malts; light slickness, sticky hops, chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char bitter dryness; no cloying, acrid, astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, minimal lingering warmth of 12.5%. Not as amazing as the BBA as expected, but pretty close. Insanely rich/well rounded malts and balanced maple syrup complexity; with restrained fruity yeast, and solid earthy hop presence/balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Glad I got the pack, worth the price, will be around for a while to get more after this one is done. Would be worthy to age.

Color of light hazy gold, bountiful white cap with good lacing.

Aroma of citrus hops first, rather dense hop aroma giving off notes of grapefruit zest, lemon oil, woodsy, earthy and a brightness that seems spicy but really isn't spicy. Good depth to the hops but little malt apparent.

Malt contributes mostly to the body and as a carrier for the hops which it does rather well serving as a launch platform rather than substantially contributing to the flavor. Good integration of taste sensations here, fairly complex. No alcohol apparent, clean finish with lingering hop aftertaste.

I buy it once a year on Feb 6, Bob Marley's birthday. Along with the Jamaican beef patties in the north end of Hartford. They pair nicely. :sunglasses:

According to this article, it's been brewed in Pennsylvania but is back to being brewed in it's homeland.

Ha! Not at all... but I’m a curious BA and would try a new beer when I get the occasion. I never set a foot in Jamaica although I tried a different product from the country many years back...

Seconded. I just tried it and wouldn’t fancy it again...

... unless I am in Jamaica by any chance... cheers!

Started getting Lord Hobo this week.
Trying out a few of their beers.
    This one is nice

    Great looking beer.
    Nice aromas.
    Sticky pungent hop bite.
    Low abv.
    Really nice.
Had one of their double IPAs yesterday.
Was really thick and chewy. Nice meaty DIPA for sure.

by the way - you all do not really think #superspak is drinking all these big beers early in the morning, do you? Come on....supposed to be "what beer are you drinking NOW", not what beers are you reviewing that you drank sometime......right?
