    NBS X-Post #1:

    Really windy out there today. Been going to a new local brewery every weekend now to get new beers to review. Went to Fillmore 13 and got 17 prowlers and a handful of bottles this afternoon. Will have to decide where to go next weekend. Will probably still stop in other places I already went before, to get the new stuff that went on tap since I was there last month. Review 8100 will be this week.

    Beer:

    Excellent NEIPA. Fantastic fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy wheat/oats, some sticky hops, and slight lingering resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 7%. Awesome Simcoe, Amarillo, Azacca, Mosaic profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on NEIPA. Would buy again. 4.03

    He loves both of us. I give the nod to Mrs. Goot, as far as his allegiances go. Yet, there is no mistaking his appreciation for both of us. He has been loyal and true like so few humans have been. He is a true soul and faithful friend, a true being...

    I can only hope to be as real as he is...

    Coltrane & Thelonious are my guys. I f*ck with a bit of Miles Davis, as well as some other obscure sh*t I collected over the years, but those two are it for me. You have far better taste in music than me. Cheers, sir.
