This genius bottle of Passionfruit Pop! from Grimm. Not your regular berliner weisse but probably one of the best berliner weisse I've had. All the way from Brooklyn to Portugal.

Pan Ipani by Trzech Kumpli, 6.0% ABV wheat IPA. Didn't have any expectations, I've never heard of this beer before. But the guy at the shop recommended it and I'm definitely not disappointed. It's a beautiful beer. It's super refreshing and crushable. I could have a LOT of these!

I'm enjoying a Stone Enjoy by 01/01/19 Brut IPA. I may have missed the date, but it's still really good. Tons & tons of grapefruit & orange with a bready/biscuity malt backbone. I'm not really getting the same Brut characteristics I've gotten from other Brut IPAs, though. It's still a damn fine IPA.

    Cheers!!

    12 oz. bottle.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a bright, light yellow body with no lacing. Nose of wheat and slight spice. Lackluster taste of same with a bit of salt on the finish. Good feel and overall, a good snowblower beer. Cheers!

Well, if I was a betting man I would say hell no. Drinking a six pack of session beer would probably not pass as a low alcohol session. But I admire your creativity. Besides, the ABV looks about the same as a Budweiser and no one can say drinking a six pack of Bud is a low alcohol endeavor.

The weekend is coming up. I hope you have a good one.

To Øl Shock Series: B!PA Cites & Simcoe black IPA at 7.3% ABV. Not sure I completely understand the whole black IPA thing yet. Most of them are really close to brown ales or light stouts in my book. This might have some IPA notes and fruityness. No matter what it is it's a good beer.

I enjoy what I do. I work 7 days then I’m off 4 so it’s not a bad schedule. Just depends what happens on those seven days. We went a week with no death calls and then this past week we’ve had 20. Feast or famine.

Appearance of shimmering medium amber gold with white cap and good lacing.

Aroma is made up of rich caramel malt marching forth with floral, herbal hops singing in the background.

Flavor is rich, rounded and a bit voluptuous yet somehow restrained. Like the St. Pauli Girl, it shows just enough. A pleasant toffeeish malt taste first and building on that is a feeling as if the taste is expanding outward, yet staying on the same path. Hops join in the fun just before mid palate then grow along with the larger flavor to the end. Finish is clean with a receding richness in the aftertaste that fades quickly leaving absolutely no bitterness in it's wake.
