American Luxury. An IPA brewed by Veil. Released last week but still available today. I liked it enough to buy again.

So my hillbilly buddy/bartender is going back to school and this is his last week...I show up at 5pm with a bottle to share, and 2 regulars have 4 bottles open including an awesome mead, and a guy visiting from Richmond has 4 bottles/cans open...I’m 11 beers into the evening, my pal is feeding me Cherry Pop Tarts, and now I’m drinking Arkane’s “Training Wheels” an IIPA DDH with Sabro hops on tap:



Nice NEIPA, totally drinkable. I drove here (rainy) but will walk or Uber home. Typical afternoon at my local pub (HBS)...Cheers gang!

 

Where can one get a @scream voodo doll? My guess it would sell well on WBAYDN.

 

Very nice brew, hitting the spot after a nice ride.

That beer has it all over on the nose, but I wasn't overly impressed either. Good, not great.

La Cumbre's Elevated IPA.

Heading up to Denver this weekend to catch the Graveyard/Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats concert. Graveyard is my primary draw as they have been one f my favorite 'rock' bands over these past 10 years and this will be my first time getting to see them.

Currently doing some research to see if I can head to Vegas in August for the Psycho Festival. Already planned and booked for Monolith on the Mesa Festival up in Taos in May, thinking one awesome music festival might not be enough. And since Levitation Festival down in Austin is scheduled for a date that doesn't work for me, hitting beautiful Nevada in August is next on my list. Tons of bands on that bill that have my name all over it: Yob, High on Fire, Amenra, Grails, Graveyard, and many, many others.

 

Hey I have a couple of recipes for you, one is the one made in the skillet I showed you and 1 is my wife's that can be made in a skillet as well. I'll get them together and send them to you as soon as I figure out how to message you.
