What beer are you drinking now? #2343

Good morning BAs! Back from TX and back into New Breakfast Beers. Today's entry:



Not bad.

 

Hola from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Not much of a beer selection here but this Presidente tastes amazing after a morning run and swimming in my own private “backyard” pool. Wife opted for a hazelnut cappuccino from the coffee bar

I drank 100's of Presidentes when I was in the DR last month. Not a bad beer at all! Enjoy your trip

 

Pour that beer in a glass, squeeze in half a lime, salt the rim, and you can thank me later.

Happy Thursday ba. KBS has not landed out east just yet, although I can get it up the island, I'm going to wait till it hits here. Grabbed another pack of the beer for babies instead. 1/3/19,

Time for basketball all day!

 

Clear deep gold color with small white cap.

Aroma of clean blueberries resting on a mild grain base.

Taste is primarily blueberry but it's a natural sort of flavor that doesn't come across as strong or artificial. There is a bit of sweetness on entry that quickly blends into a mild fruit flavor that from mid palate on tastes dry and finishes dry as well. No real hop presence that I can detect but with these mild fruit beers a hop presence doesn't really add much.

Mild to medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Overall it's a pleasant fruity beer of the milder sort with a definite but clean blueberry taste that comes across as dry.

 

Drank my share of presidente down there in 2016.

 

Topping Goliath Dorothy'New World lager, nice easy drinker. Cheers!
