    I still need to check out Brewer's Republic.

    I picked up the cans at Coaltrain.

    Like you, I prefer this version over the winter (at least the winter didn't 'age' well for me -- I thought it great initially and then it just turned to hot and sugary)...

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5

    Excellent dark yellow body; fairly thick and frothy head; fingers and globs of foam cling to the glass. Mild aroma of light biscuit and pine and earthy notes; herbaceous. Fine taste, bringing pungent spiciness and hop bitterness to the palate; mild caramel. Medium body; crisp and tingly; fairly dry throughout.

    A nice American IPA, good and drinkable although nothing to really make it standout from other quality IPA offerings. Worth trying, especially if you support veteran owned and run companies.

    I escaped having to go into work today, so hanging out in the 'Fortress of Solitude' and working on .308 Winchester reloads (primarily case prep), grooving to some fine beats and rhythms, and enjoying my latest go-to beer -- Weldwerks Kölsch...



    ...a nice guitar break pops in around 3:20 with the below Nigerian tune...
