    Have an enjoyable Friday BA.

WOW, this is still tasting insane. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, almond nuttiness, caramel, toffee, maple syrup, vanilla, cream, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, cinnamon, chili pepper, molasses, smoke, raisin, cherry, berry, date, red wine, leather, and tobacco. Very mild herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/wine/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that was perfect. Slight sticky spice, chalky roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. Mildly increasing warmth of 11.5%, zero barrel booziness. Dangerously smooth sipper. Absolutely unreal dessert stout. Super rich and complex malts/flavorings; with perfect barrel integration/balance. The maple bourbon barrels definitely are highlight overall, but you still get complementing dark fruit/spice from the Marsala wine barrels in the background.

New album just came out today, and they made yet another amazing album. I haven’t even made it through the whole thing yet and I know.

Incredible as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, white bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-full bodied, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter resin/rind dryness, no hop astringency. Amazing classic Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced malt backbone. Not overly sweet or bitter, extremely well balanced. Lightly boozy alcohol, but dangerously easy drinking. Never disappoints. Feels less sweet than last year. Also a lot easier to find when released. Have a few more left to finish off.

r/progmetal with the new band hookup here. This is amazing. It is like a blend of Opeth and black metal.

Amazing APA. 3 month old pack. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very refreshing for a pale ale, not overly aggressive. Amazingly juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced Citra hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. Revisited the review recently. One of the best in the style I've had, even though my rating dropped by a large margin from the original one. Glad it is easier to find now when I visit Ohio.

From last night, actually. This is a relatively new brewery in Ft. Worth. The beer has 10% ABV and 99 IBU, with a very robust maltiness. The hops are Mosaic and Amarillo, giving it that wonderful piney aroma and flavor. The front end is actually a bit sweet, but not overly so. I'd give it a 4+/5.

Enjoy your 3-day weekend, those that have it. I still have to work every weekend, but not all of this weekend as we are closed every Easter Sunday. Yay for me! I finally get a 2-day weekend!
    Later. Cheers!

Awesome NEDIPA. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body. Very creamy, bready, grainy malts; some sticky, resinous, rindy hops/fruit; and light fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, minimal lingering hop/fruit astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 8%. Feels like Simcoe, Columbus, Centennial. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Really well done. Would get again.

Good morning and Happy Friday BA's! Short work day over, home now watching the A/C guys do a total swap out, inside and out. Big storm coming across the panhandle, we should get it around 3-4, these guys are hauling ass to beat it. This is my 1st 4-pak of KBS, I believe I like FBS a bit better but then again I'm relatively new to the stout scene.....

Fantastic quad as always. Glad these are year round 4 packs. Flavors of raisin, plum, fig, date, lightly tart cherry, red apple, berries, peppercorn, clove, brown sugar, brown bread, toffee, vanilla, toasted oak, bourbon, coconut, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast/oak spice and light fruit tartness on the finish. High carbonation and medium-full bodied. Creamy/bready/grainy malts with slight slick/syrupy sugar notes in the mouthfeel; but still ending nicely crisp and drying from carbonation, yeast spice, and barrel tannins. Awesome barrel balance, with great well rounded complexity from yeast and malts. Very smooth sipping, mildly warming 11.2%. Still waiting to see Sixth Glass 4 packs around here. Need to revisit. I've been buying this very often in my mix packs. Loved the grand cru just as much. Pretty much my favorite year round barrel aged beer right now, since I prefer Backwoods with more age.

Good morning, BAs! Off for the weekend, with my kiddoes around the house, and waiting for the same storm as @Ocalafox . We're under a tornado watch here until 4. It might sound weird to have a tornado watch in Georgia .... but one touched down just two miles from my house a few months ago, so it turns out that's a real thing here!

Finally bought some KBS this year; I've only had this year's edition on tap before now.

Thanks for the new music listen, @superspak (Hath). They sound really solid! Remind me of a lot of the tech death and prog death I've been listening to lately, but in a good way. New Allegaeon dropped live, too.

    Cheers!
