    Good morning! On Monday my back went out, first time since January...chalking it up to new, super hard bed; could hardly walk, sit or drive the past 2 days, but sallied forth...somewhat better this morning (sleeping on the couch) and now finishing off the bottle - “Self Medication”, an 11% black sour wheat ale aged in port and bourbon barrels:



    Tasty stuff from New Braunfels Brewing Co., New Braunfels, TX. The weather forecast is upper 80s with high humidity, and the rain appears postponed another day, so off adventuring we go - Cheers y’all!

    3x Yeastus: To Øl Instant Crush Brett Edition, 7.5% ABV farmhouse IPA. It's an interesting beer. It's a farmhouse ale but it's definitely also an IPA. Really refreshing but a bit confusing at the same time. I'm liking it though. Cheers!

    I’m supposed to be opening the camp, cleaning and generally getting ready for the long weekend. But sun’s over the yardarm and nature beckons...

    OK, truth is, the blackfly are so bad that I just ran out on the deck, poured the beer, snapped the pick and ran back into the house crying. Suddenly cleaning bathrooms is an attractive alternative to mowing the lawn.

    Right along here ba. This is SuperImpose, unfiltered ipa. I’m guessing some sort of citra blended hop profile but it’s pretty nice. Juicy and soft with lots of citrus fruit.
