Another new Big Lake NEIPA. This was awesome. Great lasting rocky head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats; some sticky, resinous, rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not overly aggressive, minimal warmth of 6%. Awesome Galaxy/Citra profile. Very vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. One of their best ones so far.

I have nothing to add beer-wise, but it’s about that time when I get annoying. Fucking love this song. Nirvana is so hit or miss.

Back from beer store trip #2. Also had some great Mexican and now pretty soon some Creole.

I just have one thing to say about this beer - BA, stop reviewing beers on crack! This beer is phenomenal, and I don't understand the tanked ratings!

Incredible apple, pear, and bread notes. 4.26 out of 5! Hope I can go back for more before we take off tomorrow.

    16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy golden body with some lacing. Nose of citrus, floral, and pine. Taste mirrors nose with pink grapefruit and ruby red grapefruit flavors with a finish of citrus pith and a bit of pine. Good, soft feel and overall, a pretty solid 6.0% IPA.
    Cheers!

Nothing like a drive from Southern CA to Northern CA to create a craving for a brew.
