    Good day BAs! The former dinosaurs are calling in the back yard so I guess the rain has stopped for a few minutes. Today's New Breakfast Beer - sort of local in that it's only a six hour drive east:

    Morning walk and feedings finished, a new breakfast beer for me - “Peanut Butter Stout” by Lead Dog Brewing, Reno, NV:



    Strong peanut butter nose, more roasted nuts than peanut butter taste. Lite and easy drinking (6.6%), and it does taste like peanut butter with some vanilla in the finish. Cheers and have a great Tuesday y’all!

    Scofflaw Basement IPA

    I've been shifting to partial pours lately, in an effort to give the beer more room to "breathe" in the glass. Obviously, beers with a lot of sediment or yeast might make this approach not always ideal. Not sure if it really improves the experience or not, but it doesn't hurt.

    One of our distributors sat on some cases of 2015 through 2018 so I thought I'd try a 2015. It's not as bold as fresh, but can't put my finger on what's different specifically. At least it's not the 2015 "Cherry Variant"!
