I’m trying to savor it but that’s proving difficult. It’s too drinkable at 14%. Incredible!

 

One of the best ipas on the shelf at my local supermarket... I remember having to trade for this now I can simply walk up the block and purchase it.. Distribution has come a long way cheers

I’m drinking this well outside it’s “enjoy by” date. I still find no faults with this beer. Just an easy drinker and it smells and tastes like a “Tropical Tree Air Freshener”.

Except for the 10% ABV, I could drink this all day.

 

Amazing batch this year as usual. Fantastic lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, no warmth of 7.6%. Feels like Simcoe, Citra, Galaxy. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great clean bready pale malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. Got 2 packs already, and would buy more. Just as impressive as it ever was since the beginning.

Avery Oak Barrel-aged Raspberry Sour, 6.5% ABV. Pours dark red with a slight off-white head. Nose is funk and raspberry, taste is raspberry and vinegar, slight bitterness, moderate sour. Excellent mouthfeel overall excellent. I have not been a fan of sours, but have been trying them, and liked the last few.
