    A brand new D-IPA from Magnify. I know it's sometimes easy to overstate the talent of a brewery but I really have to say, Magnify tends to kill it with their Imperial / D-IPA's and this one is no exception. Really good shah right here! :yum:

    This one has been sitting around for a bit. Fitting for a Birthday beer I suppose. 12/2016 bottling. Honestly, this whole time I thought this was a fruit lambic or something, guess I should read the label. It's 100% barley with no raw wheat. This was amazing. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/rind, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, hay, straw, grass, leather, wet wood, barnyard Brett funk, cracker, white bread dough; with lighter notes of caramel, toast, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tang/tartness, and Brett/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, lactic acid/tang, sticky hops, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy drying, no pucker/astringency. Very smooth, not overly lactic/tannic, no warmth of 6%. Amazingly well rounded barnyard Brett/bacteria complexity with added hops; great oak presence and bready malts against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp drying. Spot on stuff as expected. 4.33

    Estonia is a new country for me and I heard ravings about this brewery. The Cherry Banger did not disappoint! A hair thinner than is the goal today, but it worked for this one and is totally worth the premium! Cheers Põhjala and to all our Balkan beer lovers!
