Another Dawgs stout. This was amazing. Dense black pour. Poor head retention/minimal lacing as expected. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toffee, marshmallow, fudge, brownie batter, apple brandy, toasted oak, roasted nuts, and dark/brown bread/crust; with light notes of coconut, licorice, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light brandy booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Very mild herbal/roast/char bitterness, and brandy/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and super full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready malts; slight slickness, sticky spice, chalky roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing bitter/tannic dryness; no cloying sweetness. Dangerously smooth/soft, mild increasing warmth of 14%, no lingering barrel booze. Perfectly balanced between super rich malts, flavorings, and brandy barrel presence/integration; with light earthy hops, and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Another easy winner as usual. 4.35

Two words that are the key to my heart: “Table” and “Rustic.”

Thank you @AyatollahGold for this delightful beer.

Foreign Love. An IPA brewed by Veil. Because I am lazy, I hate setting up new beer. I have reviewed over 130 Veil beers. I probably set up for review at least 30 of them. Veil dudes if you are paying attention...........

I hate supporting In Bev but I grabbed an Elysian Space Dust at the Mariners game last night and really enjoyed it, and their taproom is a quarter mile from my Airbnb, so decided to stop in before tonight's Mariners game.

Drinking a Push Mower Hoppy Pilsner.

I'm spending this week of vacation on a bike tour in the Finger Lakes. Putting up my tent is the second thing I do each evening.

Their best lyrics were written by The Kinks. We can at least find common ground and agree that ice cream man song is horrible right?

Round two. Definitely lots of cinnamon and nutmeg character, though I’d prefer an actual horchata
