    Goose Midway Session IPA - it’s GI and beside BCBS I have no big expectations from them anymore, it’s an okay beer.

    I am drinking Jester King Spon Three Year Blend nr 1, ABV 5.50%, Spon Three Year Blend nr 2, ABV 5.70%, and Spon Three Year Blend nr 3, ABV 5.50%. All are similar Geuze like Spontaneously Fermented Wild Ales. They are tart, lemony, they have some barnyard funk, they taste a bit like champagne, and they have a grassy bitterness towards the end. However, the first one is the most balanced, the second one have a hint of a lemon drop throat lozenger flavor, and the third one is more bland overall but a bit more of the grassy bitterness at the end. They are all great but I think #1 is best.

    Good morning, BAs! Pardon my recent absence from the forums (including my beloved New Beer Sunday thread), but I was out of town all weekend for a serious personal milestone and accomplishment. I definitely celebrated with plenty of booze - some of it even beer!

    But first, here's what I'm drinking now:

    I celebrated on Saturday with a Cigar City Xquic and on Sunday with a regular Huna, as well as a trip to Boulevard. Xquic (bottle not pictured) was more than worthy.

    Very nice pale lager from Indianapolis to start the day...

    I have a rule in my house that if you drive cars, you help maintain cars. My wife is exempt because, well...she just is. My 15 year old daughter has had her drivers permit for a couple months and one of the cars needs an oil change today. I had her drive it into the garage and on (over) the ramps. We used the jack to lift the car off the ramps and get everything settled, so good learning experience. No damage. I am tempted to take the easy way out on this, but won't. She'll learn just like my son did. Cheers all and enjoy your Tuesday!
