    I'm having a Yard's Summer Crush. It's a citrusy wheat beer. Mostly yeasty/breadiness in the nose and on the palate, but some orange slips in as well. It's nothing fancy, but it's a solid beer across the board. I'm usually not overly impressed with Yards, but this one is good.

    Wow, this is an incredible beer! It's up there with Surly Darkness and Perennial Sump (pssst... those are my favorite beers of the BA Coffee Stout style). Hey, I think I have a definite "Top 3" now!

    I managed to survive yesterday’s trip to Magic Kingdom, but I’m no better today for the wear and tear...more beer may be in my future...Cheers!

    Mornin' juice - another killer from Weldwerks (those guys are farting rainbows and unicorns, I tell ya). Loral DDH version of their Juicy Bits IPA. Just splendiferous. Yeah, that's a word now.
    Cheers... one for today here as I need ("need") to attend a local tap take-over from Comrade Brewing tonight happening at my local joint. Fun.

    Good morning, advocates.

    What a gorgeous day here. I played a quick 9 this morning around the corner from my house. Teed off at 7 and was home by 8:30. Walked which I have not done in a long time. Shot a 44. A great start to the day.

    My good fortune continues with this really excellent Imperial Oatmeal Stout. My first ever beer from Raleigh Brewing.

    Morning all!

    I'm on my last big run of vacation of 2019 and doing some fridge cleaning:

    Still very, very tasty despite being at least a year old. The 7.6% ABV, load of darker malt and resting spot in my almost-ice-cold refrigerator have preserved it nicely IMO.

    Following @Shanex comment re: my 14.7% breakfast opener, I figured I should dial my next cup o coffee back a bit - KBS:



    02/07/19...12.2% and the coffee is still strong with this one...my family has left for the airport, so I am engaged in laundry, dishes, and assuming the weather holds and I can remain upright, more RV emptying today...Cheers Friday morning/afternoon imbibers of the Now!

    Another one of these fine Vermont Pilsners with a post-workout snack.

    Starting to feel like the peak of summer is over here. Nice cool breeze today and the high temperatures are forecasted to be dipping into the low 80s and high 70s over the next week. Just about time to start hitting those Oktoberfests. Cheers!

    Very cheap here and a nice change from the usual Leffe or Grimbergen we find in bars all the time... cheers sir
