    Quite a nice Helles with a good balance of doughy, bready malt and grassy, herbal hops. While it may lack a certain oomph, it's certainly highly crushable.

    Picking shrooms on a beautiful day in beautiful woods is thirsty fun. Those two next to the glass are Hydnum repandum, common name hedgehog mushrooms, very strange and delicious mushroom, and the bowl is full to overflowing with beautiful chanterelles. Cheers!

    This has become my favorite barbecue beer during this summer. Quite a hoppy Helles with relatively strong citrus notes and less sweetness than is common for the style. Which I personally quite enjoy. EDIT: Wow, first time I've ever run into problems with postimage...

    Those shrooms look excellent.I've always been leery about going out and picking my own, you obviously know what you're doing. Luckily, most of the Amanita's are pretty recognizable and easy to avoid - I get Amanita Muscaria's in my backyard all the time under the pines. Destroying Angels have always fascinated me in terms of their lethality, a mistake with lethal consequences. I've had a long time fascination with mushrooms.

    This crowler came to a BBQ yesterday and went unopened. I wasn’t going to drink this week, but I’m not willing to sacrifice a crowler from a kind BA for my stupid principles by sitting on it for another week, so, here we are. 32oz of tasty DIPA on a Tuesday evening. And yea, I brought this shit back home with me. The rest of the beer I brought stayed.
