What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2581

Good day BAs! Today's New Breakfast Beer, thanks to Costco's journey into the heart of darkness box:



Hopefully some of the metal in this brew will strengthen my drains.

Listening to this funk / disco instrumental:

 

Fresh off the treadmill and this thing is special. Canned on 10/28/19, it pours a very hazy orange with a two plus finger sticky off white head that leaves thick webs of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5

Smell is papaya, tangerine, mango, peach, pineapple, and some apricot really tropical. 4.5

Taste follows papaya, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, and apricot really well balanced and very little bitterness. 4.5

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation true to the style, and at 7.2% ABV crazy drinkable but drinks closer to 8% in body and flavor. 4.75

Overall do these guys ever really miss. Amazing beer and I need to thank my wife for bringing this home from her work conference. More from Trillium hopefully for NBS. Cheers all and did I mention @TheIPAHunter it has Nelson? 4.5

Chest and tri's workout is done, kids dropped off at school, and getting ready to jump on a plane to LA for the weekend.

This stout is full of bitter coffee and dark chocolate, semi chalky and full mouth feel with nice carbonation. A winner.

Good morning! It's a crisp 18 degrees out today. Winter sucks.

Respectfully, it is winter. And that means "yay Stout" weather. Sure, solstice is Dec 21st and whatnot, but hey, it is winter. Embrace it.
