Back to a steady and Juicy favorite here on the Front Range.

 

Getting back into the brew with a Guayabera Pale Ale

 

Awesome! They ship to Germany I believe (still, untill Brexit).
FrauGruber is rather awesome too. I find some relatively fresh in Amsterdam now an then.

 

Turning Point Interdimensional Cable Vol 3 NE TIPA. Whoa! Tons of mango and peach. Pretty excellent. Leaves a great pair of legs on the glass, like a stripper covered in Victoria Secret body lotion and thigh highs.

 

First Celly of the year and it's about damn time! Slightly bummed that the 12pk I grabbed ended up being from a 9/30 batch, but for all I know that is the only package batch that came to PGH.

Still delicious though. I've always had a love/hate relationship with haze/juice and the lack of bitterness & balance. Last few weeks I've been drinking a lot of these new school IPA's and I'm kind of burnt out on 'em. Celebration is exactly what I needed. I think I'm on the cusp of cycle where I'm gonna go real heavy on the WCIPA/pale ales and old world Lagers...and I'm very excited about it. Cheers BAs and enjoy your winter/holiday breaks

Drinking Breaking Away by Upland. Purchased for a trade box and didn’t make the cut.

Here's the beer in the brewer's words:
For the beer itself, we wanted to create a recipe that was creative & unique to our portfolio and also geared toward the cycling. We chose ingredients that were undeniably refreshing: ginger & lemon. To amplify this thirst-quenching quality we chose a locally sourced yeast strain that produces lactic acid during fermentation adding a mild tartness to the finished beer. To soften that tartness and add a touch of electrolytes, we included a small addition of pink Himalayan sea salt. The name was inspired by the 1979 movie based in Bloomington, IN, one of our all time favorites.

This is a really nice DIPA to come home to after putting in a 16-hour shift. Honestly, this is top notch, danky pineapple/mango. Cheers to being home!

 

A cellar pull to start, this one needed to sit for at least a year to settle down before trying #2 from the four-pk.







Yep! ... still obnoxious. (Has "simmered down" somewhat, though) Won't be buying this variant again next time around. Some variants work while others don't, oh well.
