    I agree with you 100%. I still have one downstairs but I was not a fan of that fresh and was hoping some time might help. That banana/coconut one on the other hand...:heart_eyes:

    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Fine clear yellow body with lots of carbonation but only a so-so head; minimal lacing and sheeting. Pleasant aroma of wheat with fruity esters; ripe apple. The taste comes across with a decent pale malt base and hop bitterness. Body is medium-light in quality; a bit carbonated; mostly dry mouthfeel.

    This is a pleasant enough beer, okay overall but doesn't really stand out in any particular way.

    15th offering in the Costco/Kalea 2019 Advent Calendar. I enjoyed this German Helles ... reminded me a bit of, perhaps, a slightly more refined Rolling Rock, but that's me.

    Canned 10/02/19 or 11/02/19.:rolling_eyes:
    Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy golden body with super sticky lacing. Nose of citrus, tropical fruit, and an earthy/herbal/floral thing going on as well. Taste of citrus and tropical fruit with an underlying earthiness/yeastiness towards a fairly dry finish of citrus pith. Very nice feel and overall, a fairly unique DIPA, would have again, and recommend to anyone. Cheers!!!

    This is FrauGruber at their best, an excellent single-hop Nelson Sauvin DIPA that really showcases those dry and slightly acidic white grape and gooseberry notes brilliantly, fantastic stuff.

    Whew - I am running out of steam - after walking probably 4 miles this morning, came home and had lunch - then was working outside - raking leaves and mowing my lawn one last time - 55 and sunny today - just beautiful.....I think I will drink a wee dram of smoky Islay scotch before I collapse in a bit!
