In Atlanta for business, visiting Mazzy’s Sports Bar & Grill in Norcross, nice beer list. This is a very nice fruity DIPA with a nice malt backbone.

I have 10 left from this date, and I think I'm gonna try to finish them in the next few months. Still pretty good, but on the decline with a hint of oxidation. But hey, Cheers ! ! !

#2, a really nice amber ale. A little nutty, some toffee, and a subtle hop flavor. Truly crushable.

Opened a crowler of this two nights ago. Was way too sweet and tart to drink in one session so I bottled half of it with a air tight seal. Can is in recycling. Black & Blue Double Puffsicle Fruit brewed by The Answer Brewpub in Richmond. Nort sure what to expect.

Actually, has not missed a beat. Just as fruity and tart as when I opened it. Is this good news @CanConPhilly ?

I checked with the “experts”. The weather forecast says we’re going to get less than an inch of snow one week from this Thursday around 9PM. Cheers!

Big Lake BLB 95 calorie. Very good lager. Great rocky head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; with some herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery hops. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts, and some stick hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no hop astringency. A bit thin, but not too watery. Very clean lager flavors, minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Very refreshing. Nice clean pils malt showcase with solid earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Really enjoyable. 3.73

Drinking an Enjoy By at about two weeks beyond what they recommend. The can was gifted to me so I could give my opinion. Simple and plain, the whole thing is marketing. This bad boy is drinking fine, and tastes almost as good as the OG bottled version. Also, happy born day, @guinness77. Nothing but love over here, sir.

Treehouse’s New Decade is delicious, and rings in at 8.6%, which is slightly on the higher end of the abv spectrum for a Treehouse DIPA.

Just got to whine a little. Bear with me. Hurt my back twice in late Nopvember and early December. Was starting to feel good and the on Xmas day I tripped and fell on my shoulder. Just getting around where it does not hurt much and I have some mobility. Then fuck. Caught a cold or flu or something. Two months now just being a worthless fuck. I guess I am paying for the sins of my youth. Karma can be a bitch.

Quite a mellowly balanced Weizenbock with equal notes of sweet malt, spicy/fruity yeast esters and grassy, citrus hops. Quite enjoyable overall.

Untitled Art Peach Double Milkshake IPA. First review. Excellent. Amazing head retention/foamy lacing. Opaquely murky orange/green color. Aromas and flavors of huge tart/tangy peach juice/fuzz/skin/pits, orange, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with big honey, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, vanilla, cream, light toast malt sweetness; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready malts/lactose; some sticky/resinous/rindy hops, acidic/tangy fruit; light slickness/tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter/tart dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 9%. Feels like a lot of Citra/Simcoe. Extremely huge juicy hops/fruit, with solid dank/earthy notes; with a large sized lactose and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin/tangy dryness. Really rich and intense, but not overly sweet. 4.06

I try to refrain from posting food pr0n here because of all the magnificent beer photos we all enjoy, but I had to post this. It’s a half pound breaded chicken breast, perfectly fried, with mashed taters, two buttermilk biscuits, creamy jalapeño gravy, and some fresh veggies. This is literally food crack.
