What Beer are you Drinking Now? #2679

Most people know about my love for Kettlehead and especially for The Agent. This is DDH Agent with Galaxy and good lord.

Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves massive gobs of lace as it slowly settles. Canned on 2/18/2020. 4.75

Smell is guava, tangerine, pineapple, blueberry, and apricot really really nice! 4.75

Taste follows guava, papaya, tangerine, pineapple, a hint of blueberry, and apricot with little bitterness, but really juicy. 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, sticky not dry, soft subtle carbonation, and at 7% drinks more like 8%, but so crazy drinkable. 4.75

Overall regular Agent is a world class flag ship NEIPA, but this is at the next level. Just bursting with flavor and so hard to just sip because you are dying for the next sniff and taste. 4.75

 

Having a Schiehallion Lager from Harviestoun Brewery (Scotland). Single beer I brought home from Glasgow recently. A (somewhat educated) random pick in the supermarket.
Surprisingly good for a lager. Even the best lager I've ever had so far.The piney notes make it even awesome to me

You never know with Aldi. But here in NL most of the time they just have the cheapest industrial lagers. Years ago they had Tuborg for about 50 cents. Not anymore

Good luck with the carinival. We have it here too, but only in the most southern part of the country. Offices around there are understaffed or just closed completely, at least in the morning

Good afternoon, all! Drinking alfresco, with a stein of Light Hearted. This, my friends, is some good stuff. Paired with spicy California roll and lime-flavored cassava chips. Why? Because I'm all in on grocery store impulse buys. (That probably explains a lot of my food-beer pairings, now that I think about it.) At any rate... Cheers!
