Rogue Newport Nights IPA

 

St. Bernardus Abt 12. Another new one for me, despite it being available here forever. I’m not really a Belgian guy, but I’ll drink them once in a while. DFH Fort probably doesn’t really count, but those 4+ years in are amazeballs regardless... I just heard they’re a sister brewer to Westveleteren [sic?]. No chalice around here, but I’ll tell you what. It IS pretty GD tasty. Bready nose, sweet malt sips. Balanced. Alcohol nowhere to be found. OMG pours back like air. Carbonated, but not distracting. My, my, my...I guess old dogs can learn new beers...or something like that.

Damn. Might be the the most juicy IPA I ever had. Bambreeze. Brewed by By All Means. Sent by @JayWhitson . Dude, I do not even know how to describe this brew. Like no other I have ever had. Gotta thank you.

My wife and I, our new puppy, and friends hit up treehouse today. We figured it was a good opportunity to socialize our pup....anyway, had a couple of delicious beers on tap as well as some awesome beer to go.
Our pup Rocky met a lot of wonderful people and dogs, and a good time was had by all!
Home now and enjoying Nervous Energy, a treehouse milk stout!
