Drekker Lizard People. Excellent NEDIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, white grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.5%. Feels like Galaxy, Motueka, El Dorado. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. No complaints. 4.03

Day 4 of my shelter in place. Today I began to work on some 2017 Willettized Coffee Stout. Yes, the coffee is totally gone. Still an amazing beer. I thank Lagunitas for keeping me from going all Shining on my family.

Donated blood today and had an Oskar Blues G'Night before this session. Already feeling good! I'm starting to find these session IPAs taste much better from the can. Keeping the carbonation in the can gives them a fuller mouth feel. And a few minutes in the freezer adds to the body also.
