When used as a whirlpool addition or dry hop addition, HBC 692 delivers intense flavors of citrus, flowers, and wood. The flavor has been described as grapefruit, floral, stone fruit, potpourri, woody, coconut, and pine.
I concur with the woody, coconut and pine
part.

This is a good one for sure - 2020 Father of all Tsunamis from Pelican. Lots of rye whiskey barrel character.

Central Waters Call Me Old Fashioned, 12% ABV. Pours deep red with a half finger off-white head that left no lacing. Nose is cherry, bitters, and brandy. Taste follows, with cherries prevalent, some bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. The nose and taste aren't a lot like an old-fashioned, but it reminds me of one.

I really like the CW Barrel Series. The only two I haven't liked much are the BA Cherry Stout and the BA Barelywine, BA Scotch Ale and BA Cassian Stout have to be their best two.

 

Right along ba. Word Play, dipa, Interboro/Tired Hands collabo. I have yet to have anything from TH although this is clearly more of an interboro brew. Decent drinking but still pretty average for the style,

 

BA Outside the Lines. Trillium - Omnipollo colab. Chipping away at the cellar since all the breweries are closed. I figure if this lasts for 6 months I may actually get my cellar down to a reasonable number of beers
