Oberon with some dinner. Cheers!
Always nice to switch it up. Drank Blue Moon a bunch when I was newly 21. Still have a soft spot for it. Straight from da can! Cheers!
These dudes are tracking me. No matter what song I play this one comes on soon thereafter.
Having another Virginia IPA. It is good but I miss my Veil and Triple Crossing double IPAs.
Kettlehead BA Barleywine 11% and a very special brew. Wow factor for sure.
Hop Butcher Neon Green Relish DIPA (Citra/Sabro). Enormously exotic and complex. Lime sorbet and zest, coconut cream pie, orange gummis, fresh tangerine juice, ripe clementine, crushed pineapple, pineapple candy, ripe papaya, dried mango, hint of cedar, sugar-dusted pine. They meld these hops together so well. One of my favorites by these guys.
Did a 19.5 mile MTB ride on gravel. I did the second leg of the Clinton River trail. When I got to the Macomb Trail I was already tired, so I turned around and hit my endurance wall pretty much immediately. Had no food on me so I had to suffer and push myself for 4 miles until I found a road crossing with a Speedway. I got a Kelloggs Protein Bar and a Monster Java. Things got better about 15 minutes later. I need to go buy some Clif Energy Gels or something to put in my trail pack. Bad judgement on my part, I usually did fine for 20 miles before; but of course I am still working on getting back in shape so yea. My bum still hurts too. I should get some chamois cream. Also found out my Fox fork was soft and had to put more air in it. Doesn't look like the seals are leaking, it was just not used for 3 years.
Rustic Leaf Justin Peeber. Very nice light lager. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; with some herbal, woody, grassy, peppery noble hops. Some fruity corn aromas, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Very clean lager flavors, minimal fruity/yeasty notes; very flavorful/refreshing, zero warming 5%. Great clean pils malt/grain showcase; with balancing earthy noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Very well done! 3.88
I think I really should learn this song.
Pairing some garage maintenance with a glass of Big Bad Baptist Reserve..
It’s actually Salmon! And the harpoon ipa is a nice change of pace.
I assume you mean the salmon? Although the harpoon is pretty good as well.
Awesome! Either way, it looks great dude!
Someone around here wants us to stay positive:
Palette art paired with a nicely shareable NEIPA from Aslin, Soaking the Dishes.
Hell yes!, there’s no place like home even if there’s work to be done.
one of the few days Damnation isn't on tap or bottle
cheers all the same

Strong candidate for shipwrecked on an island beer.
With or without @vabeerguy ...
2011. Tastes like blue cheese in a glass!!!

It’s FRIDAY BA! Testing my pic now, last night something went haywire-
Looks good to me! Pockets emptied, book selected (a re-read with plenty of timely value), and beer poured. This is a great tropically-juicy nose here, I like it!
Hmm, interesting; is that correct/to-style? Desireable?
Interesting descriptor for ‘funky’...cheers!!!
Went for a walk with Mrs. Marley1 in the West Creek Reservation of the Metroparks after she got home from work. That’s downtown Cleveland in the background.
And my obligatory Fox Farm beer of the day
I was lucky enough to get a delivery from Magnify Brewing yesterday morning. By the afternoon NJ no longer allowed breweries to do deliveries.
Cheers all, happy Friday!
Magnify Reserved a TIPA
Had a couple of these...

Flattening the curve with That One Guitar. Mikerphone Brewing. Yes! Such a sweet Friday surprise finding these beauties up here north of the border. Excellent as always, Mike!
I bought more of this beer! I want to have a good supply of it!
I think tonight is shaping up to be a bad night for me.. Mike, do you mean like the last ten nights? I do not talk to voices in my head. Most times, anyway.
That was fun. I hope you and yours are doing OK. Stay safe. Do not be stupid.
Another new-to-me from Germany!
16.9 oz. can.
Label states 7.0 % abv.
Moderate pour yields a one plus inch off white head over a bright amber body with sticky lacing. Nose of light brown bread, slight pine, and wet leaves. Taste starts slightly sweet and finishes nicely bitter with the malt present throughout the experience. Good feel and overall, a very enjoyable offering from this schwarzbierbrauerei and would definitely recommend.
Alesmith .394 pale for (Not) Opening Day.
I like it. Soft feel, piney, floral bitterness. One more review added to my shelf in the library. Holy cow!
