    Howdy dudes and dudettes.

Early morning errands done, bit of a queue at the entrance for 20 mins but I didn’t give up and got in. Got my TP, beers and the regular food for until at least Tuesday.

Little Sumpin’ had disappeared for a few months and is now back, fresher batch is the cherry on the cake.

    Beer speaks, people mumble.

    Cheers!

Good morning, dear fellow Advocates. Day one of a three day weekend, and hey, what do you know, it's my birthday. Now, I don't really care about that, but I will use that as an excuse to spend this Good Friday drinking excellent beer, watching favorite movies and listening to amazing music. Beer # 1 is From Mountains Rivers Flow, a collaboration between my favorite brewery Cloudwater and Odell.

Happy Birthday, I know what you mean about birthdays, it’ just an other day, but at least it’s another day. Cheers

Happy birthday, mine was earlier in March and wasn’t special for evident reasons. I didn’t care as much as I used to. The big 4.0 is coming up soon though for me.

I thought today was Thursday (and Wednesday was Thursday). Time flies when you are retired!

Two pours the Friday side of midnight.

First pour, Bell's Leave of Grass Unfiltered Rustic Lager VI, a mighty fine pour! And Salut @LarryBell for your Ask Me Anything Thread!

Second pour, a Dovetail Kolsch Tall Boy, hope this is a permanent fixture in their canning/year round lineup! Got Kolsch? Got Jazz? I have both and I'm a happy camper!

Have a great Friday, take some time to reflect on the good things you have and can do for others.

Hope you have a great one. We got a layer of snow over night and I am outside trying to get a sample for Boomer’s vet appointment this morning. Figured something Cold Yellow And Hoppy would help. Cheers all.[IMG]

Vild Coulis by Brekeriet is next. This is an 8% sour Aged in Rioja barrels for 13 months with sloe berries and cherries. Delicious!

I love this movie so much.

Sounds like a typical JamFuel day to me!

Happy birthday bro! I hope you have a good one. Best wishes!

PS: Take it easy. You don't want to get burnt out on the first day of a three day weekend!

Have a good Friday. Feeling not as tired as I was the last few days. Bought the Master Chief collection off Steam last night, so I was doing Halo CE most of the night. You can toggle between old and new graphics with the Tab key. New mostly looks a lot brighter for some reason, along with some texture and polygon updates. Here on the third part of the campaign with the sniping going on is fun. Just hide and blow all their heads off. I will start Reach once I get this game beaten. The rest of all of the Halo games have yet to be released, but I will get them for free when they come out, all for the $40 I paid up front :+1:

Sierra Nevada Fantastic Haze. Awesome NEDIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, strawberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, tea, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, white bread dough malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Fairly crisp/refreshing finish. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth, not aggressive. Minimal warming 9%. Awesome Chinook, Azacca, Amarillo, Idaho 7, Strata profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Tastes exactly how I imagined! Will definitely buy more than this one time. 4.13

Happy Birthday to @JamFuel as I'd missed that writing up my beer dissertation. I'll put on some Swedish tunes in a minute here.

Short's Hopricot Sour. Excellent kettle sour. Great lasting fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy apricots, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and light herbal/grassy bitter/spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, lactic acid, fruit tang/tannins, and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very refreshing, not overly lactic, zero warming 6.8%. This is one of their better ones. Getting just a hair of Brett funk, but it might be the hops. Sourness is super CLEAN. Damn I'm glad I got the 6 pack for sure. Took me 5 months to get to it but sours don't care. 4.08

I've actually not listened to the new album yet, but it's on point with everything else they ever made. lol

Good day BAs! And happy naked day @JamFuel! Yeah, I'm with yinz - after some point they change from celebrations of your birth to celebrations of surviving another year. Or maybe after a certain point we should start subtracting a year - say after 40 we start knocking a year off each anniversary - so we become 39, 38, 37, etc. When we hit zero though ...
This nice winter day is reminding us it's still winter - two inches of snow so far here in NW PA and it's beating down. That's why we don't have to have our studded tires off until 15 Apr.
    Today's Breakfast Beer is:

An excellent take on an American IPA from a brewery that I've normally found to be mediocre - I've bought my local distributor out twice of this particular selection - Heavy Seas Hydra Haze.
