Kicking things off in the early morning hours until @tasterschoice62 takes the lead in his great idea for the Ditties and Beer Thread:

Sadly, I gave up my vinyl collection when I moved out of home after college in the 1990s. Below is a picture of my first album, in CD form, and my first pour this Saturday, Half Acre's Navaja. I also include my first 45 purchased and a youtube recording of the last vinyl I ever received or owned, courtesy of Pearl Jam for their club membership which allowed direct purchase of tickets.

Have a great beer Saturday and I look forward to seeing and hearing some great records!

First Vinyl I ever purchased (sadly only a CD remains in my collection):

Navaja, a great Double IPA from Half Acre.

Have a good Saturday. Been up all night again as I slept til 8PM yesterday. I watched Zombieland 2 and Rise Of Skywaker at my buddy's place til about 2AM. RoS was amazing, and definitely the best one on the sequel trilogy. Rest of the night I was installing Audio workstation software that I had from a decade ago in my backup. I have Cakewalk Sonar 8, Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3, and FL Studio 8 up and running. I tried doing line in and it sounded like pure crap on all programs, especially Guitar Rig. Dumb ASIO drivers or the on board sound card are probably the problem. I got a jack to USB audio interface to try when it gets here from walmart in a couple weeks. I also found a bunch of FL Studio projects still in the backup, including an EDM song I made all by myself that can be found here to listen >>>>https://sndup.net/92r9/Bumping+Jam.mp3 . I might start fiddling around with that program again to pass the time. Probably will fire up some Gamecube later, I wanted to start Super Mario Sunshine.

Saugatuck Bourbon Barrel Aged Raspberry Chocolate Stout. Great stuff. Solid head retention, light spotty lacing. Got a bit of a fruit snot goop floating on top :grimacing:. Slurped it down third sip. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, tart/tangy raspberries, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, oak char, herbal, grass, and yeast/oak earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, roast, char bitterness; fruit tang/tartness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/velvety malts; lightly slick/sticky/tangy/chalky/tannic in the mouthfeel. Light increasing bitter/tart dryness; no cloying /acrid/astringent flavors. Very smooth/soft, mild increasing warmth of 9.8%, and lingering barrel booze after the finish. Perfectly balanced rich malts, raspberries, chocolate, and bourbon barrel presence/integration. Mild earthy hops and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Not overwhelming on any aspect. No complaints! 4

I haven't got any vinyl, but I definitely listen to more music than anyone else I know.

Good day BAs! Most of yesterday's snow is gone and it's supposed to warm up again today. Gave all my vinyl to my son years ago - he now has a massive collection. I've just got a few select CDs:

@TheIPAHunter insisted that I try this beer, so he sent this beer to me by delivery owl. The flavor of this beer is absolutely amazing! I am going to drink some excellent beers today, but I don't know if any of them will be able to top this beer! The only vinyl album that I have is mankind's greatest artistic achievement, so it will likely be in multiple posts throughout today's thread. I just have to find where I put it.

Fantastic opening Larry, i did not see that coming! Rare day off so making the most of it. Three mile run done, toilets cleaned, laundry started, beer run in the next hour. Going with a few of the wife's cassettes.....my ex sold off my 300+ albums while I was TDY in Korea. Re-hydration courtesy of Founders. Have a safe, great Saturday BA's, looking forward to vinyl in today's posts!

Lagunitas Born Yesterday. Still tasting amazing. Flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop profile; with a clean pale malt backbone. Refreshingly drinkable for an IPA. Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic hops this year. Used to have Equiniox for years, but I guess they couldn't find much this year. Still have a whole other pack left, need to get some Waldos soon.

Eventually I will get into the vinyl, but right now I’m revisiting days of yore. Went into the office for supplies yesterday. Forgot half the stuff I grabbed there, but I brought my coffee cup home!

I also forgot to post this song yesterday.

I got no vinyl. We moved into 760ish sq feet years ago, so there is very little in the way of storage.
