What beer are you drinking now? #2732

Tonight's Beer Tasting Lineup:

1) Bahaus' Wonderstuff, a delicious Bohemian Pilsner
2) Surly's Hell Lager, a world-class Zwickel that is perfect
3) Bent Paddle's ESB, an English Strong Bitter
4) Summit's Extra Pale Ale, a beautiful pouring English Pale Ale with authentic English malt flavors
5) The Gold-standard Bell's Two Hearted Ale. No words. Just drink.
6) Jai Alai from Cigar City in Florida. A World-class IPA. Again no words...

I've always been a Two Hearted person myself, but after this side-by-side I'm not so sure. Either way both are in a class of their own.

Between Two Hearted and Jai Alai, which do you prefer?

 

I still can't get over how great/improved this beer is since I last had it, what, four years ago? I mean, it's a totally different beer, right? Anyway, my local corner store has a big ole pile of these, as well as Pseudo Sue, both three weeks old. I'll be heading back tonight.

 

Picked this mug up at the brewery in Plzen. Rarely use it, but thought I'd break it out today.

 

Sand City/Finback DIPA collab. Delicious. Pineapple is perfect in this. Great feel too.

 

Starting my 2nd 6pk, would make a good summer beer

 

Frequency Modulation. An IPA brewed by Kindred Spirit.

 

Oof. I caved.
Reporting "live" from my campus "zoom" meeting, but I had to have a beer to endure this shit.
UGH. At least it's a new beer, Outer Range's SHELTER DIPA. More thoughts later, but it's most welcome right now. 9%? Bring it on.

Hubbard's Cave makes some of the best Pastry Stouts, if that's in your vocabulary. Wish we had distribution here, but I can get them down the road in Iowa. I'll have to make another beer run when the world reopens. I get a big kick out of their two-packs, though they could be cheaper.
