Have a good Tuesday. Been up all night playing Call Of Duty: Warzone with one of my friends from college that was in all of my classes; same BSME degree and year. Went on for 7 hours, I doubled my rank from 18-37, and the last game I was in the #3 squad. Really addicting stuff.

Founders Unraveled. Awesome IPA. Lasting fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 6.6%, no lingering hop burn after the finish. Fantastic Amarillo, Azacca, Mosaic and Simcoe profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. This was definitely exceptional, loved the hop profile. Will get another 6 pack easily.

Good day BAs! Yesterday turned out to be beautiful! Last night no rain but it's overcast this morning and rain is moving back into the area. Today's Breakfast Beer:

I am drinking Pompeii IPA, ABV 5.80%, IBU 60, (left), and Sosus a DIPA (right), ABV 8.00%, IBU 100+ both from Toppling Goliath, both single hops with Mosaic hops. They are both juicy and refreshing as well as flavorful with a fruity and floral aroma. There's pineapple, grapefruit, mango, a hint of blueberry, and maybe a hint of pine resin at the end. However, Pompeii has more pineapple and mango, and Sosus is sweeter as well as more bitter. I can't tell which I like better, they are both great. My daughter also tasted apricot in Pompeii and honey in Sosus.

After yesterday’s day at the office (aka the dining room table), an early morning meeting with the baby is going to make going through all the emails I couldn’t get to much easier.

Bell's Light Hearted. Excellent Session IPA. Great rocky head retention/spotty foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate cracker, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 3.7%. Awesome Centennial/Galaxy profile. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hops; with a nice clean pale malt backbone for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. No complaints! Would have been ok just to keep it 100% Centennial hops, but the Galaxy adds some nice complexity to it that I really enjoy.

Both of them are great beers, indeed. They also happen to be two of the nicest can designs in Toppling Goliath's regular line up in my humble opinion.

I endured my first serious exercise (running 40 flights of steps, outdoors) after a 7 month recovery from injury. This Pils helps with the cool down. Cheers.

Experienced my first COVID rage incident this morning. Kind of shocked it took 6 + weeks.

Waiting for my sliced cheese at the deli, purposely stood at the far end of the counter to avoid others. A 75+ year old women leaves her cart literally 20-30 yards away, walks up to me, pulls down her mask, and says "Thanks for wearing your mask (I was not wearing one), can I sneeze on you?" Being taught to be polite, and realizing the stress many are under, I kept calm and told the lady "Wow" before she turned around and walked away.

Posting this as a friendly reminder to:

    1. Practice social distancing and avoid UNNECESSARY encounters with those you don't live with (and possibly those that do for sanity reasons).
    &
    2. Be kind to those you encounter, whether in person or online.

Having fully earned my beer today, I pulled out an excellent breakfast selection. Not a big milk/lactose fan. However, a good milk stout is my exception and this is a most excellent milk stout by a most excellent local brewery, Spiteful Brewing. This is like eating an excellent two scoop chocolate and raspberry sundae, with a fraction of the calories!

Going for a nice long walk before a nap and lengthy rain. Wishing you a bountiful beer and rage free day; and Hey, Let's be careful out there!

Having a light beer with lunch, and what better than a Quality Pils?

Wait ... Qualify Pils? What the hell does that mean?

    Anyway, cheers!

Took the dogs out for a long walk, before it gets too darn hot. They were a little disappointed because they only saw one bunny.
I don't think I've ever had a raspberry shandy, but it's what I am drinking now.

... and here it is! La Goudale which is another bière de garde, which we get fairly fresh here and IMO a bit better than Ch’ti I posted before... 3 Monts probably is the best in the style though.

Anyways. I’m having far too many Belgian and local French beers these days and my regular SN or Lagunitas. I have a feeling something different and awesome could come my way later this week or early next week, if anything. Cheers all again.
