Sounds great. But c'mon, man, pick a fruit or three, we're at war, lol. Can't taste like ALL:grin: of those.

I take solace in the fact that you don’t like a beer that i really like. That’s the way it is! Different peeps, different palates! I defend your right to not like it! Cheers!

Love the wrens. We have Bewick's Wren's in my neck of the woods. Other wren species too, though I haven't seen any yet, despite being a birder.

Thumbs WAY up on the birding! I love it. Relaxes me. Saw some Cedar Waxlings on my neighborhood walk today. Lazuli Buntings seen at nearby hotspots. Would love to see that species.

What is up with that owl and raven shot?! (Looks like a raven, not a crow, but I could be wrong.) Did you seriously get both of those in the same shot?!

Switched it up a bit to Zwet.Be, a belgian porter brewed with wild yeast by the folks at 3 Fonteinen. This was a birthday present from the fine fellow who runs the best local beer spot. It's weird, keeps you on your toes, and I kinda like it

Also, just realized, this weird belgian porter that I'm kinda loving is my 400th beer reviewed on this site. good times

Seems like I’ve been more out of the beer drinking game than back in.

    Well, I’m back! Cheers!

The great horned owl was sitting in the blue spruce across the street and the crow (maybe a raven, but the beak looks to narrow and pointed - but it's hard to tell around here - some of the crows are pretty big compared to what I remember out East) was raising hell about the owl. Almost any time I hear and see crows and magpies making a loud fuss about something, it's usually because of an owl or other raptor nearby.

I was lucky enough to get a large telephoto lens attached while the crow was squawking away and able to trace the sound to the spot in the trees.

I like that the owl seems to be giving the stink eye to the crow.
