Man, this is some hot shit ... chili base was 5 anchos, 2 New Mexico, 2 California, 2 Guajillo, 7 arbols and 1 ghost chili. But it was damn good . I don't want my chili masquerading as pasta sauce.

More Yellow Rose. Still got some old ones and they're still pretty good, I guess.

 

No idea why I decided to open another beer but since I already did I am committed. This is one of the thickest stouts I have ever drank, way thicker than most of the BA stuff I have drank. It isn't a pastry stout and isn't overly sweet however the mouthfeel is syrupy as hell. It isn't bad it is just something I haven't had in a stout in a while. This is a sipper. Nose is pure coffee but the mouthful is something else... This is the closest I have come to drinking motor oil mouthfeel wise

 

You are right. I did miss those opportunities. It would have added some class to my post other than my lame comment. I got an interesting story about the beer that I learned while on a cruise to Mexico many moons ago.

Where in Mexico did you cruise to? I ended up in Cozumel once and had an awesome time. It sucks the cruise industry will likely never recover from the current BS going on

 

I had the pleasure of trying this beer for the first time several years ago and was floored at the time. Very fortunate to have a second opportunity via @TheIPAHunter and I must say...I'm floored again. The mouthfeel, the soft finish, the exploding citrus flavor, the color that almost looks like it's glowing in your glass.. Absolutely top notch. Cheers, BA's!

Went on many a cruise with stops in Mexico and parts of the Caribbean. Given this whole virus thing and my age not being virus friendly I think my cruising days are over. And you are correct. I think the cruise industry may not make it.
