    Mr. Tran has left the building, er..., yard! The birds and squirrels are wild for what may lay beneath the the fresh cut grass...even the rat ventured out to survey the collective commotion...so I let my puppy Terrier out who has now scared off the squirrels (and rat) - I’m drinking a Torpedo:

    Today is fairly pleasant...it’s 86° in the shade, but humidity is low for here (64%) and between the slight breeze and my ceiling fan, Tui and I are enjoying our time on the patio...enjoy your day BAs!

    Believe it or not it happened to me too! I picked up other beers, then saw it posted her repeatedly, so I went back the next day. I am glad I did. I may pick up one more!

    No work today, so I was able to get in a run this AM. I spent the rest of the morning replacing rotted boards on my deck. Taking a break now for some lunch and a beer. This dry hopped Pilsner from Jack’s Abby is excellent. Definitely pick it up if you see it in a store near you!

    [​IMG] Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned recently, nothing saying when. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger plus sticky white head that has excellent retention and leaves thin streaks of lace behind. 4.5

    Smell coconut, pineapple, passionfruit, vanilla, and papaya very pleasant. 4.25

    Taste follows coconut, pineapple, passionfruit, hints of vanilla, and some papaya. 4.5

    Mouthfeel is medium, a little sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and drinks a little bigger than 6%, but goes down really easy on a hot day. 4.5

    Overall this is excellent, think the use Cashmere or Sabro hops for that slight coconut flavor, but very balanced and tasty. Cheers all. 4.5

    @TheIPAHunter - question, how many cans does Tree House consider to be a case? My idea of a case is 24 cans? It says they require a minimum purchase of one case. Thanks!!

    I'm having an Allagash White, a Belgian style wheat beer. Damn, this is good. Aromas & flavors of lemon, spice, clove, banana, yeast & wheat. This is a pretty complex beer for it's ABV of 5.1%. Fairly light mouthfeel, but it's just what the doctor ordered for a warm/hot summer day.

    ‘t IJ van de Duvel. Hazy IPA from 't IJ (Amsterdam) and Duvel. Since 't IJ sold its soul to the Duvel (could be worse) they produce one-time only colabs on an un-regular basis.

    Aroma is fresh, flowery, hoppy and fruity. Abv is 6,66% ...

    FYI -- weekends are busier than weekdays, and the chances of selling out are higher. I recommend logging on at exactly 9:30am and deciding what you want. I also advise being there when they open, which on most days is 11am. Otherwise you're going to sit in line for a long time. You may still sit on weekends, but I'd rather be up close and sit, as opposed to the alternative.
