That is a very wise thought. Play from the heart. Of course for all of us it is different. The other quote I have never forgotten is that -It's the noted you don't hear that count or something to that effect. Too many people have played as loud and as with as many notes in a blink of an eye rather than enjoying what the song/melody could be. Continue on my friend !!

The drummer looks suspiciously like Rick Danko of The Band. I don’t know if it is him, but damn he does looks like him. Also, the bassist looks about 15 years old, but even when you hear him in the weak mix, he definitely is laying it down.

I have that DVD and it's awesome too. He uses vintage Marshall's from what I understand. That's one of my favorite DVD's.

The only album worth getting from Di Meola is his first, Land Of The Midnight Sun, and when he plays on other's albums, just my experience with his stuff. Kinda goes the same for Frank Gambale.:sunglasses:

    Cheers!

Amen brother. We do what we have to do.

Daughter #1 is going to the beach tomorrow through Sunday. Must be nice to not worry about the virus.

I recall hearing something about leaving some space between the notes, too...let the music breathe...

Lotta Hamm’s photos today...not here. Heavy rye on rye from Boulevard. Still lots of maple on the nose, nice mouthfeel, Solid maltiness. Maybe more of a meaner Curmudgeon’s Better Half vibe to it today.

    Danko played bass...Levon Helm???

Actually, my initial thought was Jimmy Page...:stuck_out_tongue:

Trying an internet search for this performance, but so far have come up with nada...

I don't think I've ever mentioned it before, but I really enjoy your dinner prep photos. I respect any home cook that takes the time to get a proper mise en place together. I do most of the cooking at home, but rarely ever drink while doing it so I never get any pics.

Local store has this on tap...not sure I can make it that way before they run out. They also have M-43 on tap. First time Old Nation has been this way. Saw B-43 in cans, but brut isn’t my thing.

I know Danko played bass for The Band. Check out the guy playing drums in the clip. It looks like Danko.

The tundra? says it's 63 there right now. That's been our daytime high for over a week until we hit 85 today.

[IMG] Hot and thirsty. This at less than $1.30 a can will certainly quench that thirst.

Shower beer. 2.8 abv but great malt presence. Dry, fizzy, and crushable.

@Hiwattowner -- face slap time! why not Dallas Taylor? I believe he was the drummer for CSNY back around that time...maybe Calvin Samuels on bass...
