May I ask another question sir. I’d have to ask the expert here. As compared to Heady, do most DIPA and IPA drink better through the can? Or is this an outlier? I will try for myself a side by side but just curious in those who drink IPAs exclusively.

Burger and beer for lunch. This is the first big greasy burger I have had since the shut down, I kept waiting for things to get back to some resemblance of normal so I could do my regular happy hour burger and beer or Old Fashioned at Alice Blue (a really good neighborhood joint around the block from me), though I just broke down and got it to go today. Along with a Saint Arnold Amber, is hitting the spot right now.

I have a few beers to open for NBS in a little bit as well.

Quite a nice hoppy Hefeweizen that manages a great balance of equally distinct estery yeast and citrus hop notes, with just a touch of tropical fruit coming through as well.

Not the best pic, as its carbonation is really showing. It's actually more on the murky side. But here's a 8.2% DIPA w/Citra. Released 6/3.

The green vegetal notes have subsided since the first week, and what you're left with is a little juicyfruit yeast and a burst of orange and a little pineapple from the Citra. Dangerously easy drinking for a DIPA.

    Happy Sunday, all!

Thumbs up re your love of German lagers, and in this case, hefeweizen. I'm all in!

What I don't get about these daily threads is that some people post multiple beers. I'm sure some people are actually drinking several beers and posting all of them, even early in the day, lol. But other times it feels like people are just posting photos of beers they have not drunk on the day of the WBAYDN thread. Just wondering.

Drekker I Don't Know No Snakes Lager, 5% ABV. Pours clear yellow with a four-finger white head that left no lacing. Nose is grainy and sweet, taste follows with no bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. I haven't had a lager in a while, but this one is real good.

It's been ages since I've had a lager, but would drink them more often if more of them were this good.
