Very satisfying beer for only 3.5%. I vastly prefer this style to a session IPA. Thanks Dave!

Have a good Tuesday. Having my worst existential crisis of the year so far. Just trying to play as many new games as I can to get my mind off of the demons.

New Belgium Voodoo Ranger American Haze. Awesome session NEIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate white bread, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; with herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Refreshingly smooth/soft, not aggressive, zero warming 5%, with minimal lingering hop burn after the finish. Awesome Strata, Amarillo, HBC 522 hop profile. Extremely juicy/vibrant hops with light dank/earthy notes; with a nice sized oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Another spot on brew for the series! 4.13

I'm with you on both counts. I like the low ABV, and I love the light malty flavor. A great sessionable beer when you want a stronger flavor than a lager but don't want a hop-forward beer either.

Bock from Aldi. I preferred the old brand. This is ok, but I wouldn't repurchase. Cheers all!

Old Nation M-43. Amazing NEIPA as always. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, zesty, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats, and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very dank/juicy hops, with perfect wheat, oat, malt malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness, amazing soft feel. Super easy drinking. Glad to have this as a year round available beer. This is one of my top most purchased beers ever at the moment. It just doesn't get any better for the style vs availability. Every Old Nation NEIPA is better than most anything else I've had in the state. DDH is just as impressive; but a bit more bitter, resinous, dank, and earthy.

Even though I retired in March I seldom make page one. Mrs. Ozone still working and not getting home till mid afternoon, I hate to be sloshed by then. Really felt like this one today. 2015 vintage at basement temp, so good. Cheers.

Guava Gose from Collective Arts. Love the can art and the consistency there. Overcast, but not raining, on the East End of Long Island (NY). Picture made me think of this:

Helen Kane, #2 on the charts in 1928 and the inspiration for Betty Boop (whose artist also drew Snow White for the first, full length, cartoon feature: if you have any doubts, compare).

Stay Safe, Sun Screen (even in overcast skies), and Sláinte!

Sante Adairius Rustic Ales Oast House. While known for their world-class Saisons, their "normal" beers are highly underrated. But this 7.0% 100% Citra IPA is not one of them.

This is probably the only beer I've had this year where I flat-out disliked it.

I've had all Citra beers. And in fact, I love all Citra beers. But this one is incredibly muted with those fruity citrus notes and instead... generally tastes soapy more than anything else. This is the last can of my 4-pack and I'm not sorry to see it go.
