El Capitan Mountain IPA a new beer from 3 Nations canned 6-29-20.
Voodoo Ranger - Cheers !
Some feels good Inc collaboration between windmill and mikerphone. Had to try it before leaving Town and needed an opportunity to give my middle finger to the police station that just stole $200 from me. Also @ChicagoJ what does your temperature have to be in IL before entering?
Outer Range -- Color Book
...and the closing cut from an old mix CD of mine featuring reggae tunes, especially 'Johnny Too Bad'...granted, the ABB and Mountain Jam have nothing to do with the disc's premise, but it does have Johnny Winter jamming a bit with the Brothers on this cut...
...now, what I should do is make a multi-disc 'Best of Mountain Jam'...
Workhorse Pilsner - Counter Weight Brewing, Hamden, CT.
“Workhorse Pilsner is forged from traditional German ingredients, unfiltered, and dry hopped with noble hops. Grassy lemon citric notes mingle with a clean German Malt flavor. Refined yet unfettered, aggressively hopped yet balanced. Brewed to be seriously drinkable.”
Finally getting into this, I’ve really looked forward to trying it. It smells awesome. Wow, just nelson for days. I feel like I say it all the time, but yet another outstanding beer from this brewery.
Digging this imperial pilsner, Consummate Professional, from the hyper-local Well Crafted Beer Company. Cheers!
Test bottle of home brewed pale ale
Round 2 with El Capitan.
Watching the Beastie Boys documentary on Apple TV.
Currently staying at a palatial lodge in a remote and haunted Ohio forest. Wife and I are going Squatch calling at midnight. Well, I haven’t told her that yet, so maybe it’ll just be me, actual I probably won’t go either.
Anyway, I did bring some nice Ohio beers. Cheers!
I know some wont like this but I dig an "Imperial" Pilsner. Havent had one in quite awhile.
Whoa, I guess I have had a number of beers today! Day drinking, gotta love it on a Monday off
I love the crap out of this beer, so good, and the glass is a standout as well.....
Likely the closer for me - I do have to work tomorrow, dammit!
This is a great beer. I like the fact that its just slightly hazy and not turbid like alot of these NEIPAs. Pure juice. And crazy drinkable. I would have posted my favorite Charlie Daniels song Long Haired Country Boy but @Thankin_Hank has already posted. Glen Campbell was so underrated. I love this song (he didnt write it). His solo is phenomenal.
Sorry to come off crass, you weren't bothering me. All good dude. Most people don't even care.
@sportscrazed2. did the local police mug you??
Good afternoon peeps. Going on a TrilliumFest early today courtesy of @TheIPAHunter
Roadhouse Walrus Imperial IPA.
Prost to all! It's been a while since my last post here.
Hazy lil Thing.... it's raining for the 5th time today. At least I got the bike ride in early. The pool is up about 1.5" and the water temp dropped from 88 to 85. If those are my biggest worries, life's good.
Ian, we care and love you man. Talk to loved ones, it's helped many folks. Cheers mate....
Upwards of 6 inches of rain in one hour flooded my basement. Just finished cleaning up. Good news is it forced me to go through the my boxed beers down there. Enjoying a BBA scotch ale.
Jester King Das Wunderkind
Some chicken going on. And Hamms. Cheers!
Pora - Fox Farm, Salem, CT
Enjoyed my first can several days ago but Riwaka seems be divisive so let’s see how this goes:
Hard pour and minimal carbonation. Getting even more grapefruit than first time around. Trying to discern between chunky orange and papaya. Little earthy grittiness at the end. Excellent for my tastes.
#3 and I only got a six pack. They didn't even get cold yet.
Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned 6/17/2020. Pours a slightly cloudy orange amber with a 2 finger sticky off white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Smell is bold mandarin, apricot, pine, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows mandarin orange, apricot, marijuana, pine, and grapefruit. This is a bold in your face TIPA. 4
Mouthfeel is big, a tad dry, fairly gentle carbonation, and at 10% it goes down easy enough, but loaded with flavor. 4.25
Overall many people are tough on this place and I actually enjoyed this East meets west TIPA. Really a bold and well crafted beer that almost drinks like a Hoppy American BarleyWine. 4.25
I literally got pulled over in front of my house. Someone reported a car that matched mine "driving too fast" and they must have been waiting for it show up when I got home. Didn't even get a speeding ticket. Got a "stop sign" ticket which I would have had to blank completely on because it was a 4 way stop sign in the neighborhood I live in and have been going that route for months because of construction
Tired Hands Freedom From The Known, cheers!
Pre-dinner beer - “Florida Cracker”:
Too muggy to sit outside, so back in we go...Cheers!
Russian River -- Blind Pig
...another old mix CD created in 2010...Rocket the Wonder Dog in a local park on the cover - he was just two years old then (he's celebrating his 12th year Wednesday)...a few tunes from the CD (some I've posted before)...
...great, lyrical guitar solo starting around 3:19 on the MonoMono 'Kenimania' gut...
