    ...and this fall, it will be one of the first times (in a long time) that teachers of any kind and all kinds will be "front line" workers if they are going live. Just off a Zoom call with colleagues about college re-entry, precautions being taken, how many hours a week to expect in face to face... it's gonna be interesting!

    Not that anyone cares, but DMX is battling Snoop tonight on Verzuz at 8pm. This can be streamed via Apple or IG. Basically, they drop their best 20 songs, one after the other. Obviously you don't want to waste all your hits right away, so timing is key. If you're a rap fan and have an opinion on who's going to win, feel free to comment. Peace...

    Mookie's a nice player, and an equally nice addition for the Dodgers. That said, until they can prevent Kershaw from folding like a cheap suit when it counts, the Dodgers aren't winning titles any time soon. Cheers!

    I'm not a huge fan of either, but I'll lay my cards on the table. Snoop's debut was amazing, but that was 1993. The drop-off after that was immediate, and tremendous. The debut soared on the strength of Dre's production, as well as additional co-production from Daz, and the ghost writing of the D.O.C. The entire internet thinks Snoop is going to win this easy.

    DMX is a better rapper, and had more consistent albums through the duration of his career. I think he's being slept on. This battle could go either way, literally.

    If you're a fan of rap's somewhat golden era, this is a win no matter what. Cheers!
