What beer are you drinking now? #2833

You misinterpretedated my statement kind sir. But if it makes you happy...

 

My previous beer was an awesome DIPA brewed locally. Although I love Hazy Little Thing, I thought it would be a let down after the DIPA. I was wrong.

 

Oh man, it's been too long since drinking together at EPCOT and light up Ocala! I'll make a run down and we can meet up at Crooked Can, late August or early Sept!

 

I think we will need some pics to prove it's worth staying. Do your best @Ocalafox impersonation!

Sounds like a plan!

 

No beer yesterday. In my ongoing quest to drain my liquor cabinet of the weird-ass bottles that have accumulated as gifts, many from Japanese friends, I killed this tiny little bottle of distilled shochu instead by mixing it with seltzer and angostura bitters. According to my former boss who is fluent in Japanese and can read the label, 43% abv, and also an uncommon beverage.

Tasty, but harsh on its own. Pretty good in this mix.

Today I'm have a nice little DIPA from BlackStack called Link In Bio, and I like it. Boozy sweetness balancing nicely with resin bite.

So NHL Seattle announced the new team name, logo, colors and jerseys today... The Seattle Kraken... so fans can now be called Krakheads and the arena will be nicknamed the Krakhouse...



Drowning my disappointment in some Reuben's brews.

 

I’d love to swap some beer. The problem with Captain’s Daughter is we rarely get it fresh in NJ. This was the last can of a pack dated 6/16 that I bought 2 weeks ago. It was the freshest I’d ever seen it here. It’s usually 2-3 months old so I pass on it. I’m hoping this batch wasn’t an anomoly. If we start getting it regularly, I’d be happy to send some your way. Cheers!
