    Me and a friend closed down Peanuts on pitchers of Zombie Dust and then went to IHOP and I had a Colorado omelette at 3 AM. Fucking amazing for a late Friday indeed.

    A technician came over for fibre yesterday afternoon and stayed for nearly three hours. My building is pretty old though and he had to dig some holes in my walls. He did a great job, also the install was free and I even have a cheaper internet bill for a year. Win-win. Cheers with this SNPA.

    Worked a late shift for some double time tonight.
    Wouldn't say it was hard work, more annoying if anything...

    This is a fantastic Imperial Stout!
    Has a nice roasty flavor to it beneath all the sweetness.

    [​IMG] Morning all we have some much needed rain coming in today in Central NH. A buddy of mine scored some of this yesterday, Spyglass is one of the most talked about breweries in the State right now.

    Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 8/19/2020. Pours a very hazy yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves beautiful thin webs of lace as slowly settles into a thin layer of bubbles. Gorgeous 5

    Smell pineapple, tangerine, papaya, and ripe melon pretty amazing and balanced. 4.75

    Taste follows papaya, cantaloupe, pineapple, tangerine, and a hint of apricot in the finish, low on bitterness and extremely juicy. 5

    Mouthfeel is big but creamy, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8% so easy drinking it truly is perfect. 5

    Overall this one will hold its own with any beers in this style..... A absolute gem. that literal begs you to take another sip. 4.75

    It is nice to be able to drink coffee and juice at the same time, while I enjoy eating a delicious Grape Nuts and tuna hotdish for breakfast! Today's weather is going to be absolutely perfect! My plans include sitting outside. That is all.

    Finishing up this wonderful saison, the third of four I have been drinking each Saturday from Lake Effect Brewing's School of Brett Series.

    A different yeast strain was introduced to three of the four, the fourth serving as a base. All four were aged in unidentified wine barrels for 8 months. Full review was cross post in New Beer Weekend #6 and I also posted my thoughts in the A Salute to Saison Thread, a thread to celebrate and drink saisons as a community each Saturday. All are welcome, whether you are new to the style or have been drinking these great beers for years.

    Leaving you with two musical legends who share a birthday of August 29.

    Man, that was some crazy ass stormy weather late Friday - we got over 4" of rain - remnants of Laura.....the lake is up a lot....hopefully all this humidity and the last of the rain blows out of here in a few hours....supposed to be cooler and less humidity later and Sunday....yea!
