    Trubble habitual line stepper. Very nice red ale. Tastes like Amarillo hops. Sweet caramel, toasted biscuit, and slight roast. Very smooth. Biting bitter dryness.

    Its finally not pavement melting hot outside in Houston. Which means some courtyard time with beer and book.

    The last of my Spencer Trappist Ale for now. Its excellent, and reading Summer by Ali Smith. The final book in her Seasonal Quartet. One book for each season, all 4 written in a 4 year span which is an insane clip. The books are modern masterpieces IMO.

    Cape Traffic is too! Juicier, more full bodied, more “NEIPA” ish if that makes sense. Probably tough to get outside immediate area, this one canned 9/1.

    Starting tonight with one of my favorites. 2018 is tasting mighty fine...my shitty camera just cant pick up the small lettering at the bottom....that really pisses me off to no end

    Veil released a lot of good stuff this week. You are in for some good beer drinking.

    Topsail beach is awesome as are most of the beaches in NC. Weather will probably be just right.

    Post a few pictures of the beach and of course you imbibing on some good brew.

    Did a little side by side tonight. Not blind just for fun to pick out differences and find what I enjoy about each one...

    Rothaus: immediately noticed how much grassy and spicey a smell it had. Tastes for me still goes to rothaus, it’s more bitter which I personally prefer.

    Weihenstephan: sweeter smell but still little spice. More subtle bitter.

    Both are great beers! No crazy right up just wanted to compare to beers I love.
