    Have a good Saturday. I finally found some pics to make my Hinge profile complete. Just started doing some likes and messages on pics and prompts. It is an interesting platform, but I like the way it works. I slept until around 930 or 10, texted for a bit then now here I am opening a new beer.

    2019 Lagunitas Willettized stout. I had this random single in the fridge. I have 2 more 4 packs as well in the closet. I used to buy so much beer all the time, damn. Anyways this is just 11 months old now. Lots of nutty coffee brightness. Bit of dark fruits and rich fudge. Perfect integration of the barrel, I am not really getting any booze, but a touch of tannins in there. Drying, not cloying. Some lingering warmth well after the finish. Might be inclined to say it’s a bit better than my July 2018 review of a 2017 vintage.

    Oh boy... You know your sleep scheduled is wonked when the new WBAYDN starts before you even fall asleep...on the East Coast. I gotta do something about that... I know just the thing!

    That's pretty much how I operate now. Usually fall asleep around noon. Wake up at 10PM-ish. I will have to fix my schedule if I get this engineering job I have a phone interview on Monday with. That usually consists of me taking a caffeine trip to the 40 hour mark of consciousness. :beers:

    Ouch, that's rough. I can't judge - I have absolutely been there before, and I understand just how taxing it can be after awhile, let alone romantic/social life complications. These days, if I can dial in a schedule, it's usually fall asleep at 6-8AM, wake up at 10am-12pm. But this is someone who has narcolepsy and insomnia... Go figure!

    Get that sleep cycle fixed! Seriously, absolute best of luck with the interview. Engineer a device to knock their socks off and nail that position! Good luck dude - I'm rooting for you! Cheers buddy!

    Looks great! Love the glass as I've told your before and the brew looks fantastic. Not a huge fan of beers with "soda" in the name but that is just a dumb pet peeve of mine.

    [​IMG] I had gone my entire life without owning a cat, but my 2 daughters beat me down 3 years ago and we got sisters. Candy is a bad ass cat and this is a bad ass beer. That second round of dry hop turned this really nice beer into a 6.5% show stopper.

    Boulevard Phantom Haze. Awesome DIPA. Great fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, pear, red apple, papaya, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light toast/honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and wheat tang on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very smooth, creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Minimal warming 7.5% or hop burn after the finish. Really impressive NE-ish effort. Citra, Idaho 7, Amarillo, Strata, Calypso, Cascade, El Dorado, Galaxy, Mosaic, Ekuanot hops. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering bitterness. 4.1

    This opening riff is the chillest shit ever, then you have the violin going on with the vocal melody. Top tier shit.

    Good day BAs - This'll be double post with NBW. Today's New Breakfast Beer is brought to us by @foundersasap - thanks Jeff! Brewery Vivant is my favorite place to eat in Grand Rapids, one I hit a couple of times a year, except in 2020. The beer is usually passable too.
