    I was up at 5:00am to get a road bike ride in, then clear the work email backlog from the last week. Most of my job responsibilities are for our company's Pacific Rim sites which worked a 5-day workweek not four. So they put me in a hole on Labor Day Monday that I never climbed out of 'til now. So the breakfast from 5 hours ago has long since burned off.

    After a day of sim racing, time to dive into some beer. This is Sommar (Summer) IPA by Oppigårds, who are, in my opinion, the steadiest brewery in Sweden, maybe Europe. You always know that what they make is clean, well made and true to style. It's usually not earth shattering, but always worth the purchase. This is, of course their summer release, and I'll be having it to celebrate the hopeful death of the heat.

    Sommar IPA weighs in at 6%, is made with pilsner, Münchner and wheat malt, and hopped with Columbus, Cashmere, Ekuanot and Simcoe.

    The only hazy ipa other than Fat Heads Groovy Jucie that I can not only drink an entire can of, but actually purchased more of. Not chalky, chewy, or super yeasty. And their Helles and Pilsner are solid too. Thanks to @jhavs for my first can, and to @SomethingClever for this beer run.

    Saturday Morning Flashback, 1974, wrapping up. A pretty weak lineup today, Come Monday and Rikky Don't Lose My Number were the two best played so far. Looking at 1974 releases, among the weakest years ever for music. No wonder Disco was born shortly thereafter.

    Flying dog mint condition. Carbonation was a little too high and hard to pick up much mint. The base beer though is excellent [​IMG]saw meal restaurant

    Feeling like fall today! Watching my Cuse football. They're not losing as bad as i thought they would....yet :stuck_out_tongue:. Got some wings on deck for tomorrow's Jets' game, because the only thing that helps the misery of being a Jets fan is hot wings :grinning: some Jack's Abby to start.

    Super weather around these parts today, chores done and cookout starting. I guess it is a pre my birthday surprise cookout a couple of week early. I had to carry my own present.
