What beer are you drinking now? #2896

I have a dilemma this time of year. Fall is my second favorite weather season, but the Sun situation is depressing. Spring is the opposite, enjoy the Fall weather better, but the Sun is saying "Hey, things are getting better all the time".

Not waiting two more hours for sunrise for a beer, waited long enough for this Anchor already long in the tooth before purchase. Wish I can find fresher versions around here. Still a pleasure this fine late September morning.



Planned on posting the Gypsy Kings version until I came across this one.



Waiting for a time I can finally visit Cuba, family still there 60 years after my father fled, 20 years earlier his parent's fled Franco's Spain.

 

Have a good Thursday. Been up all night, had an "episode" last night. Currently in the middle of some dating conversations, but getting ignored for the moment. Anyways, yesterday one of the scientist girls I matched with asked for my # after we did some emails. So hopefully will get going on that today. Need to add a bunch of snapchats too . Also last night I came in from smoking earlier to find this bozo sleeping in my seat. He likes the left side, so I moved over, but then he'd rather just take the whole couch.


Always amazing. I know what I like.

Early day for me the recent hurricane screwed up my roof and it looks leaky in a few places. I can't really climb into the attic myself right now because

a.) I wanted to try to clean it up some

b.) I like to see whatever damage contractors are charging me to fix. The roof issue seems bad enough that I can't ignore that so I must ignore a and b.

This roof is only like 10 years old but do I know where the warranty paperwork is for it? Nope. I don't even remember who put the roof on since my memory isn't the best in the world but I swear to god if I need a new roof I am going metal instead of shingles. The guys could be here anytime before noon.



I just got out of bed and started the coffee and that my friends is why I am having an 8:15AM beer.

 

DragonForce is the best biking music. I have a 30 minute playlist of their stuff that I can finish regardless of how tired or drunk I am. Road to Oblivion starts it off.

 

This is a pretty good NEIPA.

I've had the six pack for over a month and had been pairing with various whiskies, but had neglected to evaluate it on its own merit. It's good, but really excels at balancing sweeter bourbon. Cheers all!

A case of 12 of these just arrived in the mail about 30 minutes ago. Together with a 'free' hoody, for signing up for their Fresh & Fast service again. Looks like we will be working from home most of the time the coming months. So at least there always is someone home to take the delivery.

Outstanding! Soft, but not full, fluffy nor juicy. No warmth or hop burn. Light bitterness tempered by firm malt base. Citrus and tropical flavors, with just a whiff of dank earthy (Simcoe?) in nose as beer warms. I could drink these all day (ok, at 8% I’d be napping after 2 or three). Delish - Thanks Vann!
