Trip to Total Wine today secured another 4-pack...

So I felt okay about having one of the two I had left over from my last trip...

Such a great brew - and I'm not a "brown ale" guy for the most part but this Founders release has been great to me - highly recommended - coffee and bourbon and molasses and sweet brown bread - a real winner...

Seconds. A Dark Mild Ale from Grimm.
After about 6 hours in the saddle (of a bike that is, racing bicycle) I can do with some extra liquid calories. The beer is somewhat low on the alcohol, a good thing too after some exercise.

Of course I am, once I can line up a close in person tasting exam. I will do some flash cards or something, I didn't even study for the first one

SO I got a date coming up next weekend, or thereabouts. It was the scientist girl that was in marching band like me, and seems to be on the same interest spectrum too. Wants to go to a brewery and probably play chess or retro video games. We vibed super quick, but that was after we got off the app and onto text. Pretty quiet prior to that. A very intellectual person, and that's all I want. Cute too.

A good one to get a little buzz going. I am going to a friends house for dinner up the road in a few hours.
