Soft and murky dull yellow body, like pineapple juice; dense and rocky white head, creamy and sticky; thick sheets of foam coat the glass. Biscuit and citrus on the nose with a good dose of citrus pith; old tropical fruit. Nice, subdued taste; mild tropical and citrus fruit flavors riding atop and robust biscuit malt base; light orange and grapefruit tanginess; hop bitterness remains hidden until late in the sip. Heavy body; outstanding balance between citrus acidity and creamy richness; mildly biting on the palate; semi-sweet mouthfeel to begin with, finishes on the semi-dry side.

I expected a heavier hand in the hop presence (being triple dry hopped), yet the beer comes across nicely balanced and relatively subtle for such a hop bill description. Perhaps a lot of the drinkability and balance comes from the low ABV. Other than a rather mundane smell, this is a pretty damn fine beer.

Tynt Meadow. English Trappist Ale. Could be my imagination, but it almost like I taste tiny hint of Chimay meeting Guinness. A good thing of course

Before checking the brew title on the can, I thought you were saying that this choice of beer was a terrible idea on your part.
