Happy Birthday sir ! Enjoy !!
Decided, since it's @mschrei 's birthday, to crack a local [sic] Chicago beer. HA Bodem.
Cheers, man! Go nutz.
Fuller’s Imperial IPA, 10.5% ABV. This bottle has about a year of aging on it and is starting to take on the characteristics of a Barley Wine. This would age well for many more years IMO. Unfortunately, this is my last bottle for now and it is currently out of my market. Will definitely do some hunting in an attempt to find more. An exceptional beer (underrated here) from one of my favorite breweries. Cheers.
Drinking Hill Farmstead's Abner. Resinous, juicy, delicious.
The usual Friday: walk dogs, play golf.
Here's to the weekend!
Watching a Bundesliga match, and drinking this.
Happy Birthday Fellow Libra!

I was definitely musically “oblivious” back in 1996 when I discovered that song and Fat Dominos but what a voice, and character.
This was in the movie “12 Monkeys”. Fat passed away some years ago, and he wasn’t a spring chicken so there’s that, but I have that song in my heart ever since, great just like that movie, Bruce Willis in his role and Terry Gilliam.
Happy Friday! Blazed Orange and some Chicken Enchilada soup the Mr. made yesterday...
Go Cubs Go!!!
Drinking a Trillium - Twice The Daily Serving: Raspberry, and it tastes like twice the daily serving amount of raspberries, in the form of liquid raspberry jam, like a thick, pulpy, garden raspberry fruit smoothie. Real nice. Cheers!
more local heavy metal from The Red Chord
Westbound & Down - DIPA

Platform - Muni "Hazy Session IPA" (16oz can).. cheers!
Love Fats. Ain’t that a Shame and I’m Walkin among others. He’s on my Mount Rushmore of old school rock and roll.
Thanks for this beer @Snrubnivek! Cheers, Advocates. The weather is now a far cry from the dark, drizzling skies that clouded my golf game this morning!
Fantastic stein, with all the Laander (sp?) coat of arms!
Happy B'Day! May it be filled with beer!
OK, I am done peopling for the rest of the day. I need a beer, some tech death, and a video game.
Two out of three can be covered right here, right now.
Monday Night Brewing Lundi IPA
Cheers, and ...
Ocean Mist Matunuck, RI.
Kind of a no brainer....
Have a few whales saved up for the birth of my son....he arrived yesterday! So I started with this one...
Congratulations on the birth of your son! That’s an excellent beer to celebrate with. Cheers!
This one surprised me. Berliner Weisse is not a beer I reach for this time of year, but this one really works with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice added. I reminds me of Allagash Two Lights. If it were not for the fact that proceeds from this beer help fund local art grants, I wouldn't have bought it - because it wasn't cheap! Great beer from an awesome brewery out of Athens, GA. Very community minded brewery.
I'll be consuming many Oktoberfest biers this weekend. TGIF. Cheers BA'ers. Have an awesome weekend!
Work week is over, so stopped in for a quaff at my local brewery, Settle Down Easy. Starting with a Hefe I rated well last time. After having a much-liked Port City Hefe recently, let’s see if I think it’s as good.
Monday Night Luni, great way to start your weekend. Cheers from Cumming!
My son is 22 years old; but I remember his birth ( and his sister's because they are twins!) like it was yesterday. Cheers to you! Congrats!
After work brew - new one too!
Your wife and mine are spirit animals. Pumpkins everywhere. Great beer, love Fruh Kolsch - a superior drinking beer. Cheers!
Lol! Dude broke out the Tropicalia. Georgia's best IPA. Well done sir, well done!

Clear, dark amber and brown body topped with a thick, creamy light khaki hued head. Huge aroma of roasted grains and nuts; caramel and charred wood. Big flavors; cocoa and caramel wrapped in a charred brown sugar coating; a very mild note of cherries and cola; charred wood; mildly boozy; rye earthiness and spiciness base-lining everything. Heavy body; a bit oily and spongy on the palate; soothing residual sugars coat the palate; alcohol warmth and dryness throughout.
I've never had an old fashioned, so I can't really base things off that, but as an American strong ale, this thing screams out earthiness and wood-like warmth with a very slight estery presence. The ABV is noticeable but not dominating or overbearing. It has a nearly smokey and earthy sweetness that just makes for a perfect sipper whenever the mood for a strong beer should strike.
First off, congrats to @Bhubbard34. That's awesome, sir. Secondly, happy f*cking birthday to @mschrei. I love you, sir. Now, advocates, get your a$$es in your seats, please. Church is in session. @traction, please queue the choir for me. Mhmmmm. And yes, this DDH version is awesome. This batch tastes better than the one I had in August. Can I get a witness? Amen, Hunter. Cheers!!!
Good afternoon BA
Fresh Founder's Harvest Ale hidden in a small section of my wife's Halloween village.
She has more backdrops than the number of beers I'll drink in October and that's saying something. Picked up Enjoy By and a four pack of Hop Stalker as well. Cheers all and enjoy your Friday!
Congratulations @Bhubbard34! I sent my baby boy to college this year and still remember his birthday like it was yesterday. Good stuff.
This beer never disappoints. Anyone else feel that way? I generally like this one in the warmer months and the temp has dropped a little below normal here in North GA, but I can enjoy this anytime of year, really. This was my last one. Cheers from North Georgia!
Current situation with sun breaking out.Time for another.
Congrats Mom and Dad. Welcome to the most important and best job you will ever have.
Congratulations, and great beer to celebrate with!
Still have quite a few hours of work ahead of me tonight / this weekend, but I'm done with Zoom calls for the day, and needed to crack a beer.
