Ok, a brisk autumn day hike done, time to settle in with a few beers for New Beer Weekend, and I chose a beer I've already had. I went through the hassle of setting up the photo, so...


Listened to some change-of-the-decade music from 30 years ago on the walk (not this exactly, but the artist's album from the time):

 

Treehouse blue. Mosaic oat neipa. The aroma alone has won me over cheers

 

I was given the opportunity to try Bearded Iris' flagship beer, thanks to brentk56. This is Homestyle IPA. I love the can design, which is why I am showcasing all 3 sides of it. Lovely beer too!

I don’t usually start off this hot, but this is honestly my only time to really enjoy this any time soon. Great DIPA. Really pithy and citric with a danky bite.
Goddamnit. Spurs already pissing me off.

Full review on NBW, but it's the best black IPA I've had in quite a while. Labeled as an oatmeal stout, which could lead to some genuine confusion. Cheers all and enjoy your Sunday!
