Last can of Fair State / Live Oak Jiggleproofer Hoppy Wheat Lager @ 4%.

 

I always have good intentions when I buy a bunch of beer for storage and later consumption, but we all know that good intentions pave the way to that famous AC/DC song. So, here I am, drinking my 11.0% Dolle Dries 2 Imperial Porter by Brouwerij De Moersleutel much faster than anticipated. “And I’m going down, all the way, I’m on a Highway To Hell.” A great beer. Cheers.

 

Disagree, could you really see her debating with Putin, not the same as Willie Brown.

On to a new to me New Glarus Spotted Cow. Thanks to @imtroy703 for the drink. Has an interesting kind of funkiness on the back end, like a Belgian. Unexpected flavor profile.

Industrial Arts' State of the Arts Orange DIPA. Hopped with Citra, Galaxy, Bru-1, and Perle - I'd describe it as a big, orangy version of Torque Wrench. A very tasty beer. Cheers!

 

My work day was a true test in patience today; absolutely warrants a tasty beverage or two! I really miss when Elysian was true craft, but they still churn out some solid offerings despite the corporate control..

Really like this one. I think this one nails the hop profile of a traditional Märzen more so than many other American takes. Clean, crisp, and surprisingly dry, but still delivering some of that lovely malty flavour, as well as a delightful minerality. Thanks for this one!


True story - swear to god
My jackass neighbor called the cops on me for blasting Van Halen today. The two officers came, one knocked on my door, and told me someone called. I told him hey, as far as I'm concerned, this is a euology. A rock and roll funeral procession, and as long as it's daytime, and my stereo system is working, I'll be blasting some fucking Van Halen loud enough for Eddie himself to hear it, and my neighbor is crazy if he thinks he's going to stop me in my house. The cop, cool as can be said, "Hell yeah, man. I'm not telling you to turn it down!", and he tells me a story about seeing Van Halen in the 90s, and how his brother got one of Alex's drumsticks at another show. We talked for a minute, and as they had to leave, the cool cop says, "Hey, play Unchained for me! I love that one.". What an awesome guy, and a model cop. "Hell yeah, man!". This one's for Eddie and the cool Bath PD officer. Cheers!
