Heady has survived its own hype and to this day there is still something epic about popping open a can - enjoy man - hope you have more than one lol... *withdrawal is real* :stuck_out_tongue:

Hop Butcher Unwind Your Mind DIPA (Motueka, Mosaic, El Dorado). Lemon meringue, slight lime sherbet, tangerine juice, ripe lychee, white pear, ripe mango flesh and skin, dried blueberry, ripe pineapple, orange pith, bright floral. At a touch over a month old, although I feel this one has lost some of it’s bitter bite, the hop complexity and expression has hit it’s stride.

My breakfast posting pics were admittedly underwhelming but all I wanted was the beer and wings... BA - seriously - whatta great way to start the day - ghost pepper wings? *brilliant* - but no - they're not painful in any way - it's still Popeye's - lol - they want you to come back - solid food - and you know I love Another One...

Anyways my first time encountering Double Two Hearted...
I have definitely fatigued of IPAs and DIPAs but it makes it all the more worthwhile when I have one and it just nails what I'm looking for... Magnificent - does justice to the concept of the DIPA - it is like Two Hearted 2.0 - caramel-sweet malts and big bitter Centennial hops lay a sweet pine shellac across the palate - medium-bodied - nice and sticky - dankness represented solidly - a real nice throwback DIPA from the big guys at Bell's...

I always loved Two Hearted but it needs to be real fresh for me to bite - like less than 4 weeks-old or something changes for me and it isn't as rewarding - same thing with Sculpin FWIW - end result being that while I totally love both beers I don't but them often...

My first Two Hearted - in the snow - 2/13/14...

    *nostalgic*

Lunch going into effect... *more Popeye's lol*

    Cheers...

Fuller’s Vintage Ale 2019. I am down to my last few of these and will hold onto the rest for another year or so. The 2020 will be hitting my market in about two months and I will repeat the process of buying enough to have a few immediately and then age and drink the rest over varying periods of time. Although slightly different each year, it never disappoints. I have had virtually every vintage since its 1997 inception and it is an annual anticipation. A great beer from a brewery I have a lot of history with. Cheers.

Pretty damn good tradition. I too drink a good beer whenever my team, Washington, loses. Need to cut back.

Again no glass at the beershop at the time of Covid...

The White Hag (IRL) - LITTLE FAWN - Session Ipa (4,20%)

Only Irish malts (I have read).
    Pale yellow.
    Clean, transparent.
Tropical fruit on the nose, but not an explosion.
In the mouth I find it fruity (hops, no juicy), quite bitter and herbaceous hints.
Neither "fruit" nor bitter remains in the mouth for long.
    Dry.
    Quite classic (as I expected).
    Without infamy and without praise.

Big fan of this one, and I try to pick up a sixer every time I see it, so it doesn't go the way of other imports I've always liked.

Got a new Cambridge Audio receiver as an early bday present. Vinyl is sounding great:

I'd play have a drink every time the Jets scored a TD, but I still wouldn't have finished a beer since the start of the season.

Your initial post inspired me. At that point I knew I needed wings. So I drove to the local wing shop and got a 15 piece hot.
