All that looks amazing. Good luck with the beer!

No beer for me right now. I'm back on the brown drink. They often say you make "beer" first then distill it to make a malt whisky. If so, then here's the converted beer I'm drinking at the moment:

For what it’s worth, Brooklyn is the American brewery which has the most diverse selection in France on the shelves, both in quantity and variety.

Can’t name them all but Najanrito, Lager, Defender IPA, their sour and IPA amongst others are here. All pretty good, it’s a consistent brewery. Only one that’s sadly lacking here is their phenomenal Brooklyn Black chocolate Stout. Cheers!

It's so good. FWIW, I just did a full review of it in the whisk[e]y review thread in "Other Beverages." It's probably the most authentic sherry monster I've tried, and I've tried a few (Glenfarclas, GlenDronach, Tamdhu, Macallan, Aberlour).

That sucks! If it makes you feel any better, we struggle to find it here in Texas. Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout is my favorite big stout to drink fresh ... no need to age it, just chill and serve.

    Cheers!

That’s hardly a big consolation hehe we used to find it on a French webshop but it vanished even from it, unlikely we find it on our shelves even in future. It was my first American stout to speak of, and sip on; I was blown away. It’s incredible and mind you that was about four years ago. Had it once, still remember it. There are some beers that are memorable.

Wait ... I just read something that didn't make sense. Did @beergoot say it was less than 10 degrees this morning where he's at?

What are these "single-digit" temperatures he speaks of? Are those real? :stuck_out_tongue:

Drinking a Trillium Daily Serving with Pomegranate and Blackberry now. It's like tart pomegranate seeds in blackberry preserves, with a hint of black currant for good measure. Thick and smoothie-like but refreshing at 4.1% abv. The only thing this could use is maybe some toast and peanut butter. Cheers!

going to continue the day with some Donald Byrd tracks less familiar to me

5° F at 6:30 AM...high of 14° F for the day...it's a cold one...not as cold as to what @cbcrunch woke up to in NE WY, but we both did the wood fire thing...

I have been to Trillium (a long time ago) and really enjoyed their beer!

But you are simply killing it with your music selections! Cheers!

Brooklyn is such an underrated brewery. And that Black Chocolate Stout is arguably the most underrated of the world's widely distributed big stouts IMO. Have you found a decent replacement for it?
Those temperatures would shut down Texas for a week if they included the ice/snow normally associated with them. Stay warm, brother!

When I've had enough of my mum I just lock her in the garage with the Colonel ...... @LeperJim

I'm not entirely sure where I obtained this 2016 gem of a barleywine, but I'm going to credit @2beerdogs because he sent me the glass and a wine shipper full of Bruery bottles several years back. Thanks Derek!

Happy Monday! No work today, so I started off with a couple of Murphy's stouts this morning and I am now drinking Orval. Really tasty!
